When does Major: Undecided meet?
Major: Undecided meets every Monday at 9pm in the Crane Room at Paige Hall!
How involved do you have to be in M:U to be considered a member?
There is no commitment requirement to participate in M:U!
We'll take whatever you're able to give in terms of involvement, and only ask that you are available for show rehearsals. Being a part of classes, other clubs, and non-college conflicts is absolutely not a boundary to entry.
Does M:U perform off-campus?
Yep! In addition to the 5 in-person shows M:U performs at Tufts, M:U takes part in 1-2 shows off-campus. Previously, we've performed with sketch comedy groups from BU, Brandeis, and Emerson!
Would I be able to act, write, or direct if
I have no prior experience?
Of course! For acting specifically, if you audition for one of our on-campus sketch shows, you are guaranteed a role. We also have writing meetings throughout the semester, and members often collaborate with or assist other members on their content. If you want to get experience directing, all members are very happy to guide, teach, and co-direct with you.
Do I have to choose between writing,
acting, filmmaking, and directing?
Nope! If at any point in the semester you want to try your hand at writing, directing, filmmaking, or acting, you are allowed and encouraged to do so! Many of our members act, write, and direct for different sketches in the same show! However you want to get involved is awesome!
